Halloween Fun

Chloe, Phoebe & I went to my sisters house to go trick or treating. We came home with a boat load of candy. Here are some pictures of the bat-cat and the cat-pumpkin. My little turkeys could not make up their minds on what they wanted to be, so they mixed them together.

Birthday Fun :0)

I had the best birthday yesterday.

My family was so good to me. I had a birthday dinner, birthday presents, and birthday love.

Getting older for a woman these days seems like such a bad thing, but when men get older it is like they are seasoned.

It is time for women to feel like with age we are gaining opportunities and experiences just like men.

I am rebelling against any notion that we get ugly and men get better looking.

Ten years from now I will be more beautiful than I am today. Humph!

Super Scary Haunted House

My hubby and I had the chance to get free and go on a date. He decided that we were going to go to a haunted house. We drove for 45 minutes up to Slinger because this haunted house had rave reviews.

When it was our turn we had the opportunity to walk through the field to get to the house and I was so freaked out. People were jumping out and there were animal noises. Before we reached the haunted house I was so tired from walking through the woods.

There was this one part when we were in the house where the walls closed and it was just me I felt like crying, I am such a wussie. At least I can say I went and I won't have to go for another five or so years.

Journalism, What Journalism?

All of the debates thus far have been a mockery to journalism. Tom Brokaw was the moderator at the last debate giving questions like "what are you not good at." -COME ON- Out of 6 million questions posted by Americans this is one you thought would be worth our time? Not to mention the time the time the time; after every question Brokaw would say we're short on time.

What Are YOU Truly Voting For?

Who are you voting for in November? This election is a time for us all to support good or evil. Do you support more taxes, maybe you support free health care. Higher taxes why not, in an economy that is suffering a recession I think that it is a swell idea to throw on more taxes and see where that gets us. Free health care sounds super, until you read the small print; such as the rich will still pay and get better health care and the poor are stuck with the medical help that couldn't get into those facilities. Taxes and health care are issues that can skate by the masses but what about life and death issues. Does abortion matter? The percentage of women who regret abortions is roughly 72%. Yet women have at their finger tips more now than ever the chance to take the "day after pill." Our society is breeding reliance and irresponsibility. Accountability is a thing of the past, life and freedoms are becoming a thing we will pass onto our children through fairy tales.
